With a surge in online bookings due to the Covid-19 lockdowns, we have seen disruptions across our entire partnered carrier network. This has been exacerbated by recent flood activity in WA, QLD and NSW.
We're currently seeing up to a 3-6 day delay in transit times in most areas - 90% of deliveries arrive within a three day window of the estimated delivery date.
Contactless delivery
To reduce the spread of COVID-19, most couriers are defaulting to Authority to Leave (ATL). This means that your delivery may be left in a safe place without requiring a physical signature.
Lockdown delays
Due to extended COVID-19 lockdowns across New South Wales and high parcel volumes impacting parts of our operations, customers may experience delivery delays in some parts of the state by up to 5 days.
These delays are not exlusive to any one courier. Australia Post, TNT, Couriers Please and more are all experiencing similar issues. We ask for your patience both with Chocablock and courier staff during this very busy time.
